Spotify has announced its entry into the playlist transfer market, bringing a feature that allows users to move playlists between services within the Spotify mobile app.
The new tool is an integration with TuneMyMusic, which enables seamless transfers of playlists between Spotify and other music streaming platforms like Tidal, YouTube Music, Qobuz, Beatport, and Napster.
While users can opt for third-party services such as Soundiiz and SongShift to transfer playlists, these options often come with limitations on the number of playlists that can be moved and the length of the free tier.
By utilizing Spotify's direct integration, users can enjoy an unlimited transfer experience, albeit in one direction only. The feature is now being rolled out globally to all Spotify mobile app users.
