Chinese mobile maker Xiaomi is expected to launch its next generation Mi Max 3 phablet in July. In a major leak, alleged specifications and feature list was spotted on Chinese microblogging site Weibo.
As per the leaked lists, the Mi Max 3 will sport a 6.99-inch LCD display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, making it second from the brand to come with the said processor. To recall, Xiaomi Mi 8 SE was the company’s first smartphone that was powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor.
The leak reveals that the smartphone is expected to come in two different storage variants -- 3GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB. On the camera front, Mi Max 3 is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup with 20MP primary camera.
The smartphone will run on MIUI 10-based Android 8.1 Oreo operating system, as per the leaked information. It will be backed by a 5500mAh battery and will also come with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
For those unaware, the Chinese firm launched Xiaomi Mi Max 2 in July last year in India. Mi Max 3 is successor to the former. The Mi Max 2 smartphone sports a 6.44-inch full-HD display with 1080x1920 pixel resolution. It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and flaunts a 12MP rear camera. The device runs company’s MIUI based Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and boasts of 4GB RAM.
